Having Lisa as my doula made labor so much easier and so much more peaceful. With my first child, I didn't have a doula, so many questions that I had went unanswered because the nurses were just a tad too busy to give me their full attention. With Lisa by my side during my second pregnancy, I had answers to all my questions and the extra help that I both wanted and needed. She was so good about letting me decide what I wanted to do, and when I needed to communicate to the doctors, she helped me find my voice when I wasn’t really sure what I wanted.

We were blessed to have Lisa as our doula for the home births of each of our three boys. Her nature is accommodating and respectful through prenatal, birth, and postpartum care. She was always easy to reach and arrived quickly. This was key during my fast labor and delivery time, and especially so with our third son Asher, who was born after three hours from the start of labor and about five minutes before our midwife was able to arrive. She was a calm and peaceful presence through it all, which helped immensely. During the intense labor contractions, she offered several options to help ease me through, and I felt that the pressure points comb and back massage was helpful. I really appreciated how she was available for whatever we needed, whether it was being at my side when my husband had to step out, or doing other errands or tasks no matter how big or small the requests. She has a good knowledge about baby and mama care and is very respectful of other's choices whether they are conventional or more holistic, being equipped to care for either with her best efforts. Lisa genuinely cares for the whole family through the birth experience and I can highly recommend her to anyone looking for a doula.
